U5 is a flashy
black baldy January open
show heifer by STF
Montana Black and the
great donor dam Louken
Kenya 510PP. U5’s
recipient cow left her a
little green at weaning
time but she has a good
strong appetite so she
has been packing on the
pounds. Kenya her mother
already produced great
heifers that have sold
to Black Ridge
Simmentals in North
Carolina and White
Simmentals in Louisana.
Kentana’s Grand Dam sold
in 2007 to Bushy Park in
Maryland for $26,500. U5
follows right in line
with the rest of the
pedigree. She will make
a show heifer deluxe
with the best hair on
the farm and a nice even
temperament. Heifers
like U5 you wish you
could keep but the buyer
will be very pleased,
especially years down
the road when shes
making show cattle of
her own.

Here is a heifer
we are particularly
proud of. She is the
first calf out of Triple
C Miss Wisconsin. Miss
Ohio possesses a
tremendous rib shape and
volume. She has a large
bone structure all
combined in a moderate
frame. Her muscle in her
hind quarter is
excellent. Her
temperament is quiet and
easy for your junior to
work with. Her mother
Triple C Miss Wisconsin
was the heifer that
Thomas Lundy showed when
he won Showmanship at
the Nationals last
summer. U3 has a strong
appetite which makes her
easy to feed. If you are
looking for a heifer
that can compete
nationally, check out IC
Miss Ohio U3. If you are
looking for a donor cow
that will add some
power, growth and style
to your herd, check out
IC Miss Ohio U3. Genmark
tested homozygous black.

Heartstopper was our
pick of the JDJ
dispersal sale. She just
really struck us because
she is so long bodied
and long fronted. This
cows mother is the great
BH Dancing in the Dark
that Barry Hageman bred.
She has already produced
two fabulous females for
the IC herd. She also
produced the 2nd high
selling open heifer in
the JDJ Dispersal. One
spring heifer by HC
Hummer will be selling
the spring of 2009. This
mating to the Denver
Champion JDJ Charisma
will be very productive
and I think a little
different. The Charisma
calves have worked well
with big time growth.

Welcome
to the website of the Tincher family and Indian Creek
Simmentals. The purebred cattle herd was started in 1993
with the purchase of an established purebred herd here
in Ohio. We have utilized A.I. and Embryo transfer to
grow our current herd to 100+ purebred and commercial
brood cows. We are very proud of our first 15 years of
purebred seedstock production. The Indian Creek
Simmental herd now consists of the cutting edge top
genetics in the Simmental breed. We have sold cattle
from Utah to Maine, from Minnesota to Florida. We are
particularly proud of the repeat costumers that we have
established here in Western Ohio, eastern Indiana and
Kentucky. We strive to provide the products and the
services that will be profitable for our customers.
Our farm is located southwest of Oxford, Ohio. Oxford is
home to the picturesque Miami University campus, founded
in 1809. Marc was born and raised in Oxford and
graduated from Miami University. Danielle was born in
Cincinnati and raised mostly in southeast Indiana and
graduated from Ball State University. Both Marc and
Danielle are teachers at Talawanda High School; Marc
teaches Psychology and Sociology, while Danielle teaches
10th grade English. Jack (6) and Scout (4) attend Kramer
elementary school in Kindergarten and preschool,
respectively. Visitors are always welcome! |
